  •   UI Web Designer/Developer

    The UI Web Designer/Developer works on various projects to design and build prototype user interfaces and websites. They should serve as a knowledge resource for the latest technologies and standards for front end web and user interface development.

    Responsibilities
    -Work closely with product managers other internal stakeholders to build concept mockups, demos and prototypes of proposed and planned applications.
    -Collaborate in the definition of user interface design standards for applications, to optimize ease-of-use and achieve an integrated and consistent look and feel.

    Requirements
    -Minimum 3 years experience in web design/front end development with specific expertise in web-based applications
    -Fluency with the latest web standards and technologies including: CSS, HTML, JavaScript, jQuery)
    -Working knowledge of WPF application development (specifically XAML)
    - Adobe Photoshop proficiency
    -Experience with icon design in Adobe Illustrator
    -Superior interpersonal skills
    -Strong attention to detail, and deadlines

    Summary: This position is located in Ogallala Nebraska. Provides technical assistance and training and provides advanced troubleshooting and resolutions to customers. Applicant will foster an advanced technical work environment by performing the following duties. All applicants should have experience with Windows Operating systems, remote software such as VNC or MSTSC. A radio background is helpful but not mandatory. Automation software training will be provided.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Includes the following and other duties may be assigned. All duties are performed with little or no direction.

    The Support Engineer assists customers, fellow techs, and service personnel in the installation of software, hardware, and 3rd party peripheral components. These include but are not limited to files servers, commercial grade workstations, networking switches, NICs, monitors, KVMs, and radio equipment located at the user's premises.

    Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions; Works well in group problem solving situations; Uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics.

    Customer Service - Manages difficult or emotional customer situations; Responds promptly to customer needs; Solicits customer feedback to improve service; Responds to requests for service and assistance; Meets commitments.

    Interpersonal Skills - Focuses on solving conflict, not blaming; Maintains confidentiality; Listens to others without interrupting; Keeps emotions under control; Remains open to others' ideas and tries new things.

    A combination of education and experience will be considered.
